John Treadwell Nichols (July 23, 1940 – November 27, 2023) was an American novelist. He wrote the New Mexico Trilogy - The Milagro Beanfield War (1974), The Magic Journey (1978), and The Nirvana Blues (1981) - as well as numerous other works of fiction and nonfiction.
John Nichols (born Feb. 2, 1745, London, Eng.—died Nov. 26, 1826, London) was a writer, printer, and antiquary who, through numerous volumes of literary anecdotes, made an invaluable contribution to posterity’s knowledge of the lives and works of 18th-century men of letters in England.
