    Pesaro (Italian: ⓘ; Romagnol: Pés're) is a comune (municipality) in the Italian region of Marche, capital of the province of Pesaro and Urbino, on the Adriatic Sea. According to the 2011 census, its population was 95,011, making it the second most populous city in the Marche, after Ancona .

    The Palazzo Ducale was built by Alessandro Sforza in the second half of the 15th century. The façade consists of a portico of six pillars and arches, and an upper floor with windows crowned with five coats of arms, festoons and cherubs.
