The project GILA - German, Italian & Latin American consortium for resource efficient logistics hubs & transport is sponsored by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (FKZ 03INT712BA). The project period was from July 2020 till July 2023.
Gila Project works against institutional exclusion and discrimination against trans people and for the development of responses that will address the long-standing neglect of our communities. We operate in Knesset committees, vis-à-vis government ministries, and vis-à-vis institutions and authorities, both through lobbying and legal means.
To that end, the Gila Project was completed in 1957 by the Bureau of Reclamation. Irrigation with water from the Colorado River caused the water table to rise and threatened crops with drowning. Drainage wells were constructed to remove the excess ground water.
