Punnagai Desam (transl. Land of smiles) is a 2002 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by K. Shajahan. The film was produced by R. B. Choudary under the production banner Super Good films. Punnagai Desam - 6.5/10. One of the many light dramas that would come out during those days, Punnagai Desam is a pleasant, albeit predictable, watch. I think its aged decently, which is ironic cause when it originally came out I felt it was a little plain. But overall, its a nice little movie, talking about friendship and love.
