Apr 11, 2014 · Bhoothnath reaches Dharavi, Asia's biggest slum, and here he happens to meet Akhrot, a (street-smart) kid from the slums, and soon they become friends. With Akhrot's help, Bhoothnath is able to earn some money. Akhrot soon lands the two of them in a soup after agreeing to help a criminal-turned-politician called Baau.

Apr 11, 2014 · Kailashnath (Amitabh Bachchan), the friendly ghost from the 2008 hit Bhootnath is sent back to earth from his exotic abode in Bhoot World. His crime: Prithvi pe bhoothon ki naak kata di. He was unable to scare kids in 2008. As a punishment he must accomplish what he failed to do then - scare at least 20 kids - in 2014. Sounds like fun.
Bhoothnath Returns takes Bhoothnath's story forward. As he returns to 'Bhoot World' he is greeted with taunts and condemnation from other ghosts for bringing disrepute to the ghost-community for getting bullied by a kid on Earth.
