Welcome to Westlake, Texas! The Town of Westlake is known as the place where the cross timbers meet the prairie and holds tales of settlers from the Peters Colony, Indian treaties signed by Sam Houston, tremendous archaeological treasures, and some of the oldest settlements in north Texas.
Most, if not all work, requires a permit in the Town of Westlake. Below are the requirements for various permits and any documentation required upon submittal.
The Westlake Trail Map & Guide includes a color-coded legend that shows all six trails: Dove-Davis, Solana*, Granada, Glenwyck, Entrada Loop and Entrada Canal and identifies the locations of trail heads with parking, pedestrian underpasses, shade structures, drinking fountains, and those historical markers located along the trails.

Overview. Per the Town of Westlake's Code of Ordinance, Chapter 58 “Door-to-Door Solicitation and Handbill Distribution, Itinerant Merchants and Transient Vendors”, individuals must obtain a solicitor permit to conduct such activities.
