The Rolling Meadows Historical Museum was designed as a replica of the first ranch-style homes constructed in the community by Rolling Meadows founder, Kimball Hill, in 1953. Displays of donated historical documents, photos, and finishings of the 1950s era are combined to create authentic interior spaces within the home.
New Online Processes. The City of Rolling Meadows has implemented a new building, planning, licensing, and inspection software. You can now register for an account to apply for a new business or rental license and zoning requests (special uses, variances, etc).
Residential Refuse, Recycling, and Yard Waste Collection. The Refuse and Recycling Division of Public Works collects refuse for single-family residential customers and some multi-family townhome properties within the City. Yard waste is collected on the same day between April 1st and December 1st.

National Night Out (NNO) is an annual event meant to improve Police-Community relations. The event is held on the first Tuesday in August throughout the United States. The event is coordinated by the National Association of Town Watch. National Night Out started in 1983 and has grown annually.
