   Is Lido di Venezia worth visiting?

   • The really nice thing about Lido di Venezia is that you can get away from the overcrowding of Venice itself. The streets and sidewalks are open and less crowded. We were there at the same time that the Venice Film Festival was happening and it was still remarkably less crowded! Anyway, it's a nice walk from the vaporetto stop to the beach.
