Nestled on the coast of Santa Rosa Beach, Eden Gardens State Park is one of the Emerald Coast’s hidden gems. First established in 1876, it’s a natural wonder that offers countless opportunities for exploration and recreation.
A beautful park all around. There are some lovely gardens and a house (1800's) that offers tours for $4 above the park fee certain times of the day and on certain days. There is also a small gift shop attached. There is a canoe/kayak launch that is very accesible and a dock to fish.

Eden Gardens State Park contains approximately 163 acres of land that was part of the historic Wesley homestead. The focal point of this park is the beautifully renovated, two-story house with elegant white columns and wrap around porch.
During the 1800s, Eden Gardens State Park was the home of lumber baron William Henry Wesley and his family. Tour the historic Wesley Mansion or just walk among the moss-draped, ancient live oak trees and extensive landscaped grounds that stretch to the Choctawhatchee Bay.
The park is home to seven distinct natural communities in addition to its developed areas. These communities, include scrubby flatwoods, mesic flatwoods, floodplain swamp, wet flatwoods, baygall, xeric hammock and maritime hammock. All are bordered to the north by Tucker Bayou.
