Make sure you watch the theatrical version as the directors cut is terrible. Although it is good for giving more mythology if you really like the film and would like to know more about Kelly’s original vision and ideas. Jake Gyllenhaal is amazing in this, great visuals, the soundtrack is genuinely unreal and works perfectly for the movie.
I mentioned in a thread a while ago that Donnie Darko was one of my favorite movies and a couple of users were giving me shit about it. Saying that it's not artistic or whatever. But I do know that a lot of people agree with me in that it is a really good movie. What do you guys think?
