  4. Apthamitra is well directed, with all the unnecessary fat trimmed, with a tight screenplay and excellent acting. In fact apthamitra is the best version of this movie among all the languages. When it comes to originality and real feel Manichitratazhu is amazing. The acting, costumes are close to reality.

  5. It was similar in Apthamitra(Kannada version) as well as it was also directed by P. Vasu. But unlike Jyothika, I don't remember Soundarya doing any kinda overacting. Imo, the only remake that gave proper justice to Manichitrathazhu was Bhook Bhulaiyaa (Hindi version).
