Established in 1849 by the local Governor Andriy Fabr, the Dmytro Yavornytsky National Historical Museum located in Dnipro is one of the oldest museums in Ukraine. The Saviour’s Transfiguration Cathedral serves as the principal Orthodox Church in the city of Dnipro.
