Nov 22, 2023 · Don't get me wrong - the Model 5s aren't a bad speaker by any means, but the Lintons do edge them out in the performance dept. a little bit. The EVOs - which I had for over 2 years - are also excellent speakers. Ordering all three and sending back the losers is the best approach to this conundrum. Jun 10, 2010 · The 10.7 is still relatively new so probably not as many reviews yet. But I do believe the UK site, WHAT HIFI has given the 10 series high marks. Happy researching and I hope you get more responses from both Yamaha and Wharfedale users to assist you. Dynaudio Focus 260's, Rel T-1 and a Panasonic TC-P54S1.
Mar 19, 2024 · Also considering GR-Research X-CS Encore which is essentially the X-LS Encore with two woofers from what I gather. Would love a comparison (or opinions) of the X-CS (only a 2 way) versus the Aura line. For LCR the cost is: GR-Research X-CS Encore $4,000. Wharfedale Aura 2 $5,250. Wharfedale Aura 3 $6,000. Wharfedale Aura 4 $7,500.

Apr 27, 2019 · Wharfedale MFM-7 performance. I recently purchased a used pair of Wharfedale MFM-7's at a local Thrift store. I placed these Wharfedale MFM-7's in our upstairs A/V room. I have an older Denon AVR-2801. I had some new Monster Cable XPMS 18 gauge wire and put on some gold banana plug connectors.

Im looking for cheapish but decent sub to go with my active Audioengine A5´s. Wharfedale seem to be a respected company and many of their speakers get great reviews ...
Feb 20, 2010 · As far as sound goes. The Wharfedale 9.4 and Klipsch F-1 are polar opposites. The Wharfedale a bit more laid back and warmer. Dynamics are okay, but certainly nothing to brag about. The Diamond 9.5 are better than the 9.4. The Klipsch F-1 more forward, brighter and more in your face; than the 9.4.
Dec 19, 2018 · Wharfedale vs Monitor Audio vs Emotiva. So, finally decided that going to upgrade my fronts and center followed shortly. Currently have Deftech SM65’s. The room is 20 x 11 w/ 7 1/2 foot ceilings. Due to room layout the main listening position is about 8 1/2 feet from fronts. Mix is about 50/50 music to ht.
