  4. The second piece of this set is Liebesleid. This is the original, which is written for violin with piano accompaniment. In 1931, Rachmaninoff wrote virtuoso transcriptions of the first two (Liebesfreud and Liebesleid) for solo piano, based on the original by Kreisler.

  7. This is an abridged version of Liebesfreud that I arranged and adapted for secondary school orchestras. The tempi in the score are suggested tempi and can be adjusted based on the orchestra's ability.
