  2. Pinarayi Vijayan (Malayalam: [piɳɐraːji ʋid͡ʒɐjɐn]; born 24 May 1945) is an Indian politician who serves as the Chief Minister of Kerala since 25 May 2016. [3][4][5] A member of the politburo of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI (M)), he is the longest-serving secretary of the Kerala State Committee of the CPI (M) (1998–2015).
