Ranveer wasn’t the original choice for the film! It was Ranbir Kapoor, who turned it down. Actor Ranbir Kapoor was considered for the lead role before it eventually went to Ranveer Singh.

A dubbed Telugu version was released simultaneously along with the Tamil version. It has been 9 years since Band Baaja Baraat was released and ‘Bread pakode ki kasam’, we still love this film.
