Cappadocia ( / kæpəˈdoʊʃəˌ - ˈdoʊkiə /; Turkish: Kapadokya, Greek: Καππαδοκία) is a historical region in Central Anatolia, Turkey. It is largely in the provinces of Nevşehir, Kayseri, Aksaray, Kırşehir, Sivas and Niğde .
