Cesena (Italian: [tʃeˈzɛːna]; Romagnol: Cisêna) is a city and comune (municipality) in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy; and - with Forlì - is the capital of the Province of Forlì-Cesena. Served by Autostrada A14 , and located near the Apennine Mountains , about 15 kilometres (9 miles) from the Adriatic Sea .
- Rocca Malatestiana. This remarkable castle complex has stood in Cesena since the late 1300’s and actually stands on top of two previous defensive fortifications.
- Piazza del Popolo. Cesena has several beautiful squares but the Piazza del Popolo (People’s Square) is undoubtedly the most important and attractive. Located at the side of the Rocca Malatestiana, the square has a myriad of gorgeous structures in a variety of different colours – from pinks and yellows to greens and whites.
