Lihue (Hawaiian: Līhuʻe, [liːˈhuʔe]) is an unincorporated community, census-designated place (CDP) and the county seat of Kauai County, Hawaii, United States. Lihue is the second-largest town on the Hawaiian island of Kauaʻi, following Kapaʻa. As of the 2010 census, the CDP had a population of 6,455, up from 5,694 at the 2000 census.

- Kalapaki Beach. Kalapaki Beach is the best beach spot in Lihue and a great place to head to if you’re hopping off one of the cruise ships. Located right in front of the Mariott Resort, this U-shaped beach with golden sand, sweeping coastal scenery, and swaying palms is picture-perfect.
- Alekoko Menehune Fishpond. One of Hawaii’s most important cultural sites, the Alekoko Menehune Fishpond was created over 1,000 years ago and is the state’s oldest aquaculture reservoir.
- Jammin’ Banana Bakery & Cafe. Located in Lihue’s Anchor Cove Shopping Center, the Jammin’ Banana Bakery & Cafe dishes up some of the island’s most delicious breakfast options.
- Happy Hour at Duke’s. Perched right along Kalapaki Beach, Duke’s is an upscale dining staple in Hawaii. The Barefoot Bar offers a more casual atmosphere with an undeniably good Happy Hour every day from 3 to 5 pm and again from 9 to 10:30 pm with discounted drinks and appetizers.

This beautiful town offers a variety of attractions for its future visitors. From falls to plantations, museums to beaches, and markets to galleries. Surely everyone would enjoy staying here!
