Diouloulou is a small town and commune in the Bignona Department of the Ziguinchor Region of southwestern Senegal. In 2002, the town had a population of 2,725 people. [1] The village of Diouloulou was the capital of the rural community of Diouloulou and of the arrondissement of Diouloulou.

It was founded in 1889 by the American missionary, Rev. Dr. Francis J. Tondelier, in Diouloulou, Senegal. The church was originally known by the French name Église Évangélique de Diouloulou, and is currently tied to the Protestant Church of Senegal.
