Ports. The collection of port activity data shows the evolution of port throughput in Latin America and the Caribbean at the country and port levels since 2000. Throughput data is available aggregated by port and also by country, both meassured in TEU.
Transhipment in the Latin America and the Caribbean region represents an important share of the total regional throughput. In 5 of the cases it stands for the 50% of the country’s throughput, and in 3 cases the 80%.
