Farida Jalal (born Farida Sami; 18 May 1950) is an Indian actress who primarily worked in Hindi films. In a film career spanning almost fifty years, Jalal appeared in over 200 films.
They have a son together named Yaseen. His husband also had a detergent factory in Bangalore. She got 5 filmfare awards, the Best Actress Award at Harlem International Film Festival ( 2012) for ‘ A Gran Plan’ and many awards for the Best Supporting Actress. She is a trained Kathak dancer.
