The Graduate School supports the admission process for all of MU’s 150+ graduate degree and certificate programs. To be formally admitted to MU, all graduate applicants must meet minimum admission requirements.
The Graduate School issues the majority of immigration documents for new MU international graduate students seeking a new student visa. After official admission to the University, international applicants will be asked to complete an enrollment form in the application system.
Eligibility & Process. Below are the minimum admission requirements for all graduate programs at MU. Applicants are required to meet two sets of minimum qualifications for admission: those of the graduate program and the minimum requirements of the University.
Doctoral advisors must be members of the doctoral faculty. To determine whether a faculty member has doctoral faculty status, refer to the list of faculty in each academic program in the University catalog. Students can change advisors during their doctoral program.
