Discover. Rainmeter comes with a few simple starter skins that provide a good place to start, but the biggest part of the community are skins which you install onto your system. You can place them onto your desktop and modify it so it will fit to your current systems theme to create something special and unique.
Skins in the Rainmeter Skin Packager (.rmskin) format can be easily and automatically installed with the Rainmeter Skin Installer. During a normal Rainmeter installation, the .rmskin extension is associated in Windows with the Skin Installer program, and simply double-clicking the file will install it in Rainmeter.
Rainmeter 4.5.0 Release. You can safely install the 4.5.0 release version right over your existing Rainmeter 4.4, 4.3, 4.2 or any earlier installation, and nothing you have done will be lost or changed. There is never any need to uninstall any earlier version of Rainmeter to use the newest version.

How to install skins. After you have downloaded the skin file, locate the file and click "Open" and install the file and it will auto-added into Rainmeter menu setting. Find the skin's name, open the folder and simply load or unload the skin the way you like it.
