Modern College of Pharmacy is part of one of the most prestigious educational institutions of pune namely Progressive Education Society (PES).The history of PES goes long back into the pre-independence era, When education had overtones of Patriotism and Social Obligation.
Under the leadership of Principal Dr. P. D. Chaudhari, the institute is running basic undergraduate course in Pharmacy (B. Pharm) and four post graduate courses in Pharmacy i.e. M. Pharm in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology and Quality Assurance Techniques (QAT).
Modern College of Pharmacy was established in 1998 by Progressive Education Society at Nigdi, Pune. It is located in close proximity of the Industrial belt of Pimpri-Chinchwad. The college is approved by Government of Maharashtra, AICTE, PCI, and UGC and permanently affiliated to University of Pune.
