The digital version of the GU Logo was released during the Inaugural Ceremony of the Platinum Jubilee Celebration of Gauhati University, by the Honourable Chancellor of the university Prof Jagdish Mukhi. The logo is digitised from its original print version by the Department of Instrumentation and USIC, GU.
