Richa Sharma (6 August 1964 – 13 December 1996), also known by her married name Richa Sharma Dutt, was an Indian actress and model who worked in Bollywood. She married Sanjay Dutt in 1987 and died of a brain tumour in 1996.
His first wife, Richa Sharma, died due to Cancer in 1996. His younger sister, Namrata, is married to actor Kumar Gaurav. After the death of his first wife, Richa, Sanjay lost the custody of her daughter Trishala and thereafter, Trishala started living with her maternal grandparents in the United States.
