Girish Chandra Murmu (born 21 November 1959) is the 14th Comptroller and Auditor General of India [1] and the external auditor of the Inter-Parliamentary Union. [2] He is also the chairman of the United Nations Panel of External Auditors and the Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions.
Shri Girish Chandra Murmu assumed office as the Comptroller and Auditor General of India on 8th August 2020. Prior to this, Shri Murmu was the first Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
