Jul 9, 2019 · July 9, 2019 (HANOI, Vietnam) – Starting from Aug. 1, 2019, Vietnam Airlines will apply the Piece Concept for baggage allowance on all domestic and international flights, replacing the current Weight Concept. Under Piece Concept, free baggage allowance is determined by the number of pieces of luggage rather than the total amount of weight that a passenger can travel with.
Each piece of cabin bag shall be less than 7 kg in weight and sum of dimensions less than 115 cm (36 by 23 by 56 cm). Cabin Baggage Allowance. Economy Class - 1 cabin bag +1 personal item.
