Synopsis. Apr 13th, 1919, Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar witnessed an horrific massacre. Brig Gen. Reginald Dyer (Andrew Havill) ordered his men to open fire on 20,000 peaceful demonstrators. Thousands died. Michael O'Dwyer (Shaun Scott) was the Lt Gov of Punjab and the man in charge.
Based on the life of Udham Singh, a freedom fighter from Punjab who assassinated Michael O'Dwyer in London to avenge the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Amritsar, the film starred Vicky Kaushal in the title role, along with Shaun Scott, Stephen Hogan, Amol Parashar, Banita Sandhu and Kirsty Averton in supporting roles.
