Benefits of e-Shram Card. The unorganised worker having an e-Shram card will get the following benefits: A pension of Rs.3,000 per month after attaining 60 years. Death insurance of Rs.2,00,000 and financial aid of Rs.1,00,000 in the case of partial handicap of a worker.
Oct 30, 2023 · e-Shram, an initiative of the Ministry of Labour and Employment, is a step towards building the Aadhaar Authenticated Comprehensive National Database of Unorganized Workers (NDUW), working in the country.
Ministry of Labour & Employment launched e-Shram portal on 26 th August 2021 for creation of a comprehensive National Database of Unorganised Workers, authenticated with Aadhaar. As on 18 th May 2024, over 29.67 crore unorganised workers have already been registered on e-Shram portal. The portal is presently integrated with National Career Service (NCS) Portal, Skill India Digital Hub (SIDH), myScheme portal and Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Mandhaan (PMSYM) scheme.
Dec 21, 2023 · Ministry of Labour & Employment has launched e-SHRAM portal, a National Database of the Unorganised Workers on 26th August, 2021. It has been made available to the States/UTs for registration of unorganised workers including migrant workers and domestic workers on e-SHRAM portal.
Aug 30, 2021 · The e-SHRAM portal covers unorganised workers and aims to implement social security schemes. The workers will be given a new e-SHRAM card which has a 12-digit UAN number. Registration on the portal is free of cost and beneficiaries will receive accidental insurance coverage through PMSBY.
