The ABC intends to provide students with the opportunity to register for a unique ABC ID, an interactive dashboard to see their credit accumulation, and options to begin a choice-based credit transfer mechanism.
Students will have their own accounts, each with their own ABC ID, as well as a dashboard where they can track their credit accumulation, transfer requests, and credit history. Students can also perform credit transfer initiation requests and a follow-up view request status effectively, just like in a traditional bank.
Students may register on the ABC portal to verify the availability of credits in their ABC account. Upon registration, an ABC ID will be created, which must be submitted to academic institutions so that credits may be sent into their respective ABC accounts.

Feb 7, 2024 · APAAR has been conceptualized under the National Education Policy (NEP 2020) in which all college/university-going students are required to register on ABC, i.e., Academic Bank of Credits. According to the new rule, it is necessary to have an ABC ID to take admission to any college or university.
