Super 30. Anand Kumar (born 1 January 1973) is an Indian mathematics educator, best known for his Super 30 program , which he started in Patna, Bihar in 2002. He is known for coaching underprivileged students for JEE–Main and JEE–Advanced, the entrance examinations for the Indian Institutes of Technology ( IITs ).

In 2002, Anand Kumar and Abhayanand started Super 30 with the plan to select 30 talented students from economically impoverished sections who could not afford IIT coaching. These 30 students were then prepared to pass IIT-JEE examinations.

Mar 23, 2022 · In 2002, Abhayanand and Anand Kumar began Super 30 with the arrangement to choose 30 skilled understudies from financially ruined areas who couldn't manage the cost of training for JEE—the entrance examination for securing admission in the coveted Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).
Some of the students alleged that Anand Kumar projected an inflated success rate of his coaching centre by making a misleading claim that 26 out of 30 students had cleared the IIT JEE Exam in 2018. The students said that only 3 from the Super-30 batch could qualify for IIT JEE.
