TRACES enables deductors / collectors to view status of challans and TDS-TCS credit for a PAN. They can also download Conso File, Form 16 / 16A and Justification Report after logging in to their account on TRACES. View more to download Challan Status Inquiry (.csi) file from TIN website.
Taxpayers will be able to register on TRACES. After successful registration on the website, user will be able to login into their account. This will enable taxpayer to create their own account profile at TRACES and perform/view the activities under the respective PAN.
While trying to login to TRACES, system goes back to the landing page every time. What should deductor do? What are the functionalities that deductor can access after logging into their account on TRACES?
From AY 2023-24 onwards, Annual Tax Statement available on TRACES portal will display only TDS/TCS related data. Other details would be available in the AIS (Annual Information Statement) at e-filing portal (https://www.incometax.gov.in/iec/foportal) .
