We've been attending a church recently that always uses an ancient statement of belief (the Apostles' Creed) in its services. One line in it says something about Jesus descending into Hell after His death, and this confuses me.

Aug 11, 2015 · Let me explain. On one hand, the Bible makes it clear that Jesus was fully human. He was born as a baby, grew up as a child, and worked during much of His adult life as a carpenter. Like any other person, He got hungry and thirsty and tired; He also felt joy and sorrow and pain. In addition, He also knew what it was to endure temptation.
