Commented Oct 23, 2012 at 18:58. @AsafKaragila A partition of a set is a collection of non-empty subsets of the set (called "parts") which are exhaustive and mutually exclusive (pairwise disjoint). Ie: the union of all parts equals the set, and the intersection of any two parts is empty. – Graham Kemp.
