Before becoming an actress, Mala Sinha was an official singer for All India Radio (AIR). Mala Sinha’s friends used to tease Mala by calling her ‘Dalda’ (Brand name of a vegetable oil). So she changed her name for her first movie (Jai Vaishno Devi) to ‘Baby Nazma’.
