The new integrated terminal building, being built at Kenjar, near the city, is likely to become operational in the first quarter of 2009.
Jan 10, 2021 · Also, Mangalore is a multilingual city, mostly consisting of native Tulu and Konkani (includes me!) speaking population, but nearly everybody can speak and understand Kannada, so there should be no problem in communication. There will be slight culture acclimatising to the ways of coastal people, but it shall be smooth.
Was getting nostalgic, while visiting Goa, and Mangalore is just 6 hours away from Panjim. (a big plus point) It is an educational city, with students contributing almost 70% of the city's GDP. You cant even compare it with Bangalore, because its a small, coastal city. Tulu is the official language and fish and squids are the most popular ...
But the waiting is not just because it's nosh, most restaurants in Mangalore are slow in service because of the mad crowd in the initial stages. I'd recommend people to go there after the initial craze has lowered down. But I'd actually disagree with you about the food.
Oct 2, 2022 · Red light areas won't do well within the city, and like another commenter mentioned, the city is asleep by 9, so that would have to go along the highway where long distance truckers might want a night. There are some offering their services at Hampankatta and the State Bank areas as well, so that would work too. 4. Reply.
Jan 15, 2010 · This is the first mall under construction outside core Mangalore - Nehru Maidan, Hampankatta, KS Rao Road, M G Road, Kankanady (except for Time Square which is a very small one). Should benefit the people staying in Kadri, Kaikamba, Ganjimatt area. I expect malls of similar size to come up in Kavoor, Surathkal, etc.
