You can track the status of your application for new PAN / reprint of PAN card / Changes or Correction in PAN details using the 15 digit unique Acknowledgment Number after three days of application using this facility.

Instructions: a) This facility is available for PAN holders whose latest application was processed through Protean. b) For the PAN applications submitted to Protean where PAN is allotted or changes are confirmed by ITD within last 30 days, e-PAN card can be delivered on email ID registered in PAN application free of cost three times.

Online application can be made either through the portal of Protean (formerly NSDL eGov) ( https://tin.tin.nsdl.com/pan/index.html) or portal of UTITSL ( https://www.pan.utiitsl.com/PAN/ ).
The facility to download e-PAN card through the NSDL Protean portal is available for applicants who have applied PAN card through the Protean website. Any new PAN card or updated PAN card can be downloaded free of cost within 30 days of PAN card allotment or confirmation from the income tax department.
However, request for a new PAN card with the same PAN or/and changes or correction in PAN data can be made by filling up the form for 'Request for New PAN Card or/and Changes or Correction in PAN Data'. Applicants are required to provide their AO Code details in the application.
