Kollam Municipal Corporation (KMC) is an ISO 9001:2015 certified civic body that governs the city of Kollam in the Indian state of Kerala. [2] [3] [4] [5] It is the fourth-largest city corporation by population in the state, and the fifth-largest by area.
About Us. Kollam City is, for purpose of governance, divided into 55 wards divisions. On an average every ward may consist of a population of about 7000. Each ward is represented in the municipal council by an elected Councilor, who may be from one of the recognized political parties.
