Jun 27, 2024 · The Nabanna Scholarship (নবান্ন স্কলারশিপ) Scheme, initiated by the Government of West Bengal (পশ্চিম বঙ্গ সরকার ), aims to offer financial aid to deserving students who have successfully cleared the Madhyamik (Class 10), Higher Secondary (Class 12), or any University Examination (UG/PG).
The Chief Minister’s Relief Fund has been built up by donation / contribution made by humanitarian and socially committed persons or organizations. The donation or contribution made to this fund is entitled for 100 % exemption from Income Tax under Section 80G (5) (VI) of I.T. Act,1961.
