हरिवंश राय बच्चन (27 नवम्बर 1907 – 18 जनवरी 2003) हिंदी भाषा के एक कवि और लेखक थे। वे हिन्दी कविता के उत्तर छायावाद काल के प्रमुख कवियों में से एक थे । उनकी सबसे प्रसिद्ध कृति मधुशाला है। भारतीय फिल्म उद्योग के अभिनेता अमिताभ बच्चन उनके सुपुत्र हैं। उनका निधन 18 जनवरी 2003 के दिन, साँस की बीमारी के कारण, मुम्बई में हुआ था।.
