Delhi Technological University (DTU), formerly Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) is a state university in Rohini, Delhi, India. It was established in 1941 as Delhi Polytechnic. In 1952, it started giving degrees after being affiliated with the University of Delhi.
Delhi Technological University was Delhi’s first engineering college when it was set up as Delhi Polytechnic in 1941. It has since undergone considerable change in the last decade. It was given university status in 2009 which ended 57 years of affiliation to the University of Delhi, the last 44 as Delhi College of Engineering.
