Wrexham University ( Welsh: Prifysgol Wrecsam; Welsh pronunciation: [priːvˈəsɡɔl ˈrɛksam]) is a public university in the north-east of Wales, with campuses in Wrexham, Northop and St Asaph.

Wrexham University is an industry-led university with a strong emphasis on graduate employability. It has fostered strong links with leading local and regional employers, including Airbus, Kellogg’s, JCB and the BBC.
The institute was a member of the University of Wales from 2004 until 2008 when it was granted university status. In 2016 the university became Wrexham Glyndwr University. The university is named in honour of Owain Glyndwr, an important figure in Welsh history.
Starting out with just our Wrexham campus in 2008, we now have campuses in St Asaph and Northop in North Wales, and in Kingston-upon-Thames in London. More than 9,000 students study with us.
