The University of Graz (German: Universität Graz; old: Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz) is a public research university located in Graz, Austria. It is the largest and oldest university in Styria, as well as the second-largest and second-oldest university in Austria.
Admission. The review of the application is an administrative procedure that is subject to legal requirements. This includes first checking the formal requirements (e.g. required certifications) and only then are the content requirements checked. Therefore, the check may take a long time.
The University of Graz is Austria’s second oldest and second largest university. The motto “we work for tomorrow” guides students and researchers. They develop solutions for the future with a special focus on the topics of sustainability, climate change and biosciences.
Master´s program. Not every completed degree automatically entitles the student to take up a Master's program at the University of Graz. In many cases, the curriculum of the intended master's program provides information about which previous program authorises direct admission.

International Degree Students. Students from countries listed in appendix of Tuition Fee Regulation - which are the poorest countries on Earth - only have to pay the student union fee (ÖH fee) of € 24,70 each semester.
