Admission Criteria. For majority of the programs, admission is done through National level entrance examination conducted by authorized /statutory boards or agencies. For few programs, admission is done directly by the University through Aptitude test & personal interview.

WBUHS offers UG and PG courses in Orthodontics, Physiotherapy, Nursing, and Dentistry. Diploma courses in Counselling Psychology, Radiography Diagnostic, Child Health, Gynaecology Obstetrics and others.
Since 2003 the University affiliated a number of new colleges throughout the State and as a result, the number of seats in MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BPT, B.Sc (H) in Nursing, M.Sc. (Nursing) and B. Pharma courses increased considerably.
