1997. The Belgian Air Force's Koksijde base helicopter rescue team celebrates diver Frans de Gruyter's 4000th flight hour with a surprise party. It's cut short by a fishery boat in trouble, but Frans looses his nerve, some equipment fails and weather conditions are appalling.
