Stralsund is about a 1h train ride or 80 minutes drive east of Rostock either using the B 105 or the A 20 (watch the speed cameras on the E 251). In addition to fishing boats, ferries to Rügen leave here, there are some beautiful brick buildings to discover and a legendary ship is anchored here: the Gorch Fock I. Built in 1933, she served as a sail training ship for a long time and was used by the Soviet Navy until 1990.
