Memorial Stadium is the current home of the Indiana State Sycamores football and soccer section in Terre Haute, Indiana, United States. The stadium was renovated between 1967 and 1969; it was built to host professional minor league baseball; the Indiana State football team began playing there in 1949.

Oct 13, 2019 · Memorial Stadium was built in 1924 and was the home to everything in town from baseball games, high school football, 4th of July celebrations, soccer matches, and circuses. The original horseshoe shape grandstand seated 16,000 and for the size of Terre Haute was quite large and impressive.

Sep 12, 2013 · Memorial Stadium provided Terre Haute with the finest athletic facility in the country for a community under 500,000. At the time it was built, and for 40 years after, its use by ISU was incidental to existence, not the reason for it.
