Hwa Chong Junior College is the second junior college, and the first government-aided junior college to be established in Singapore, after National Junior College.
Hwa Chong Institution (HCI) is an independent school with a history of over 100 years. It was formed by the merger of the former Chinese High School (TCHS) and Hwa Chong Junior College (HCJC) in 2005, and offers the Integrated Programme and various specialised programmes.
